Counselling + Consulting
People are my passion. Connection is a big part of that. If you're looking for a keynote speaker or facilitator who keeps the conversation lively and real, includes appropriately placed pockets of humour, and adds educational value - you've found your gal.
Speaking in front of a room isn't about speaking at people. It's about bringing them into a conversation they can relate to and feel part of. As an educator, sex therapist, and sexual wellness speaker, it's my goal to make sure that by the time all is said and done, our space is warm and inviting. By the time these talks are done, the goal is to have created a new small community where folks feel comfortable, get involved, and hang around to ask questions. Whether our group is filled of coworkers, friends, or strangers - those who come will leave with new information and new connections.

I speak on panels for post-secondary institutions, summits, conferences, and women's health events. Some of my most popularly requested workshops include:
Our nervous systems are constantly responding to the world around us, often before we’ve had a chance to make sense of what we’re feeling. While on one hand, this is a survival response and tells us our body is working exactly as it was meant to. On the other hand, sometimes these responses can be so overwhelming and overpowering that it no longer feels like we’re responding to a situation in the way we’d like.
This topic explores how stress, overwhelm, and past experiences can show up in the body, while introducing practical and accessible ways to recognize and respond to those signals. Whether we’re talking about relationships, intimacy, work, or everyday life, the focus is on building a better understanding of your nervous system and finding regulation strategies that actually fit into real life.
I also offer a spinoff of this workshop that specifically looks at Hormones and Intimacy. Think – the nervous system meets sex and intimacy.
What actually creates chemistry and what keeps us coming back for more? It’s funny because most of us don’t realize that the term ‘chemistry’ isn’t just a cutesy word used to describe the connection between two or more people. ‘Chemistry’ is used to describe the very real, physiological changes happening in our body when we exchange energy, time, and space with another individual(s).
This conversation explores the science and mechanics behind dating, attraction, sex, desire, and connection, while unpacking how our bodies, emotions, experiences, and expectations shape who and what we’re drawn to. We bring the theory into the real world through relatable examples and practical applications, giving participants space to consider what it all means for their own dating, sexual, and relationship experiences.
What happens when part of you wants intimacy, but your body responds with tension, anxiety, numbness, disgust, disconnection, or shutdown? This conversation explores the emotional, relational, and nervous-system factors that can shape how we experience sex and intimacy – including the roles of safety, shame, past experiences, and desire. Rather than treating these responses as something to simply “get over,” we explore what the body may be communicating and how greater awareness, choice, and safety can create space for more present and connected experiences of intimacy.
While we always approach these conversations from a trauma-informed lens, this conversation especially prioritizes those pieces. More often than not, we find that shut down during intimacy is connected to real pain from the past. Grounding methods, regular check-ins, and taking it slow are pillars of this talk.
If you’re interested in this topic as a focal point for a speaking seminar, you might also be interested in our Arousal, Desire, and Libido talk.
With this worksop – you, and you alone are the focus point.
What if pleasure didn’t have to be earned, performed, or even lead anywhere? This conversation invites folks to rethink self-pleasure beyond orgasm or masturbation and explore it as a way of building connection with ourselves, our bodies, and what genuinely feels good. Together, we unpack the messages, shame, expectations, and habits that can shape our relationship with pleasure, while using reflection and real-world exploration to help participants discover what pleasure and self-care can look like on their own terms.
We all carry stories about what sex and intimacy are supposed to look like – what we should want, how our bodies should respond, what makes us desirable, and what counts as “normal.” The source of these stories often comes from beyond the self, and we notice that our internal self-talk mirrors this. Family, friends, religion, community, TV – everywhere we look we are being fed ideas of what is right or wrong, what versions of intimacy or relationships are allowed or criticized. It can all become so much; sometimes it get’s warped and sits in the system as shame.
In this conversation, we challenge some of those learnt rules, get curious about which ones are actually ours, and explore how we can rewrite our relationship with sex and intimacy in ways that feel more honest, freeing, and true to who we are.
The retreat and event you are creating is special – it’s a labour of love. As an intimacy and sexual wellness facilitator, it would be my honour to be a part of the experience you are creating. Whether my role is to support couples through interactive workshops and intimate reconnection. To support women’s wellness by creating safety for the conversations we’re told we can’t have. Or something else. I’m here to be your sexual health and wellness, workshop and retreat facilitator.
